CIR registration in progress
The Tigaset building system is undergoing the Uruguayan Certificado de Incorporación al Registro de un Sistema Constructivo No Tradicional por Declaración Jurada (CIR) procedure. CIR registration is in progress and has not yet been granted. The current documentation status is available on request.

- Is a light-steel house more expensive than masonry?
- The price per m² is comparable or lower, and the total investment cost is usually lower — thanks to a shorter build cycle, lower financing costs and reduced material waste. We provide a bespoke calculation for every project.
- How durable is the structure?
- Properly designed and protected light steel structures can achieve long service lives. Actual durability depends on structural design, corrosion protection, environmental exposure, detailing, maintenance and applicable standards. Galvanized steel provides corrosion protection, while the required fire resistance is achieved through the engineered build-up of the complete assembly.
- Can the building be insured on standard terms?
- Yes. Structures meet Eurocodes and EN 1090. Insurance terms are confirmed for each specific project and destination market.
- Does the investment qualify for a mortgage?
- Financing eligibility depends on the individual project, lender requirements, technical documentation, valuation and local banking procedures. We support clients in preparing the required documentation but do not guarantee a financing decision.
- What does after-sales service and warranty look like?
- A 30-year structural warranty for the load-bearing structure applies, subject to the applicable warranty conditions. We provide project and service support from Poland and, for projects in Uruguay, through Tigaset SAS in Montevideo.
- Do you need a special building permit?
- No. The procedure is identical to a traditional building. Our design documentation is prepared to satisfy the authorities in Poland, the EU and — through Tigaset SAS — Uruguay and the wider Mercosur region.
